Provost
The town of Provost is located near the Saskatchewan border with excellent connectivity via Highway 13 to markets in that province plus the Eastern Alberta Trade Corridor.
Provost is the regional business service hub for a vibrant eastern Alberta agricultural production region. There are multiple banks and financial institutions in town, as well as farm supply, transportation and personal service businesses.


THE OPPORTUNITY
Provost has a comprehensive medical system. The Hospital serves as an intake centre for the entire region and includes an LTC facility. The recently built medical centre houses six physicians. Additionally, there is access to mental health, community health and senior’s care.
The town has invested heavily in community recreational facilities to support the labour force and there is a 24/7 emergency access at the health centre. It is a wonderful place to raise children with strong local schools.

The Provost Airport, situated at 391020 RR25 Provost, AB T0B 3S0, boasts the longest runway between Edmonton and Saskatoon, stretching an impressive 5000 feet. Equipped with a Nav Canada approved-published GPS Approach, the airport facilitates enhanced accessibility for air ambulance services, enabling decreased descent to 486′ and 1.5-mile visibility on runway #30. Note that runway #12 has a slightly higher descent at 550′ due to tower structures. The runway can accommodate aircraft with up to a 75-foot wingspan and has a continuous load rating of 5.0.
